Increasing Participation of Persons With Intellectual Disabilities With Smart Socio‐Technical Arrangements

“Smart devices” and “smart applications” open up a wide range of opportunities for the individual. Today, vast majority population in Europe uses electronic devices with multitude as an aid everyday life. One part society that could arguably benefit more from these types technology is comprised persons disabilities. Statistics show disabilities, especially those intellectual own use fewer than other parts population. Several authors have addressed this issue, referring to it “digital divide.” In argumentative article, we advocate social‐relational understanding disability conceptualise “smartness” attribute situations (and neither applications nor people).
